Medinotes has over 80 practice management systems (biling systems), which have a real time interface. This allows your patient demographics, scheduling and referring physicians to flow into Medinotes from the PMS and the billing to flow back into the PMS.
Document Management solution for providers that have a greater scanning need that allows you to batch scan, annotate, cut, copy and paste information from one document to another, full text search functionality, barcoding, for easy routing and filing of documents, and user based security.
MediNotes Sync allows you to be mobile and have full access to your entire database anywhere without a connection. The data can be synched with the main practice server to ensure the new information is available on the network.
Red Titan/File Upload Service -- this device allows medical equipment that does not have a specific interface with MediNotes e, to have the capability to communicate with the program. If the device has the ability to print, Red Titan takes that information and sends it to MediNotes e where it can be imported into the program for use.

Software complies with 100 percent of certification criteria West Des Moines, October 23, 2006 - The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) today announced that MediNotes Corporation is CCHIT CertifiedSM for its product, MediNotes e version 5.0 and meets CCHIT ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) criteria for 2006. Ambulatory EHRs are designed for physician offices and clinics where most Americans get their healthcare. CCHIT is a Recognized Certification Body in the United States for certifying health information technology an independent, non-profit organization that sets the benchmark for electronic health records. As a CCHIT Certified product, MediNotes e has been tested and passed inspection of 100 percent of a comprehensive set of criteria for:
- Functionality (ability to create and manage electronic records for all patients, as well as automating workflow in a physician's office)
- Interoperability (a first step in the ability to receive and send electronic data to other entities such as laboratories)
- Security (ability to keep patient's information safe)
The CCHIT Certified mark of approval for EHR products provides the first consensus-based, consistent benchmark for ambulatory products.
